Class Overview

The project/furniture will depend on the instructor of the day.

At the end of the session, students will be able to:

mill their own rough lumber to specific final dimensions
apply slightly advanced joinery
use Biscuit jointer/ jointer/ thickness planer
apply natural finish, eg. beeswax
embark in intermediate woodworking techniques such as wood legs tapering and bevelled cut joinery

Workshop schedule: 9:30AM to 6:00PM (The workshop might end later than the stated schedule depending on the program flow).

We suggest that you arrive on time because the first part of the workshop is about SAFETY.

WORKSHOP INCLUSIONS

1. All tools and materials to be used are already provided.
